We have practices in place such as our concrete subdeck, that is a base we install before your decking materials are installed, that ensures no sinking/shifting that you will see on every other pool deck.
The reason for this, is when your shell is backfilled, we compact the soil and well as we’re able, however seeing we dug up 6’ or more of earth, and placed it back in its place around your new pool shell, there will be settling that will occur naturally as we’re on a sandy loam soil here, not clay you may find up north.
